Ikea gaat multichannel
Ikea start in de UK met een pilot voor een online shop.
We’ll be kicking off the New Year in a new way at IKEA, with the pilot of our online shopping service, Shop Online!
We’ve been working for quite some time now to get everything ready for Spring 07.
The good news is that we’re now able to launch the pilot of Shop Online! in January in some parts of the country - first Nottinghamshire, then the Midlands. Then week by week, we’ll be covering more and more areas and our ambition is to meet the majority of our mainland UK customers by the end of 2007.
At this stage, we’re testing with our own co-workers, to make sure we get it right for you. So although we’re not open for business to you just yet, we thought you’d like a preview of what we’ll be offering at Shop Online!
Why not take a look at our test site? You can’t shop yet, but we’d be very interested in your thoughts and comments.

Een zegen voor alle slachtoffers van het Ikea succes die massaal gedwongen worden de verplichte winkelroute van 1,5 km door te lopen om de uitgang te kunnen bereiken. Laten we hopen dat de pilot een succes is. In Nederland beginnen ze er volgens Anna nog niet aan, maar wie weet doet goed voorbeeld goed volgen….
